272 Explorer Scout Unit

Our constitution is a code of conduct which has been created by the explorers, and aims to be a simple set of rules for everyone follow, to ensure the best experience possible is had by everyone in the unit. We review and update our constitution every year, and we last updated it in Februrary 2010.

Behaviour

• Bullying in any form will not be tolerated.
• No swearing.
• All Explorers & Leaders will act in accordance with the Scout Law.
• Please switch all mobile phones and iPods etc off during Unit meetings.
• Please respect instructions given to you by leaders.
• When out in public, please have a good and polite manner at all times.
• Please try and integrate more during unit meetings and activities.

Appearance & Uniform

• All Explorers and Leaders must wear uniform when requested – this consists of Shirt, Unit scarf, woggle, smart blue trousers (not jeans), smart black shoes (not trainers) and scout belt. Shirt should be tucked in.
• Explorers and leaders may bring a change of clothes for activities if so wished.
